ephemeral nature - it is always changing
partake in something - join in something
defend their territory - defend a place that you have marked as your own
persistence - continue to do something despite being challenged
pay homage to something - we show our respect for something to do something to honour it
pay tribute to something - we show our respect or admiration for something
to have a song stuck in your head - to keep singing something over and over without stopping
To bring colour to your day - to bring happiness and joy to your day
aptly - appropriate or suitable
